As a result, businesses are relying on external security experts to help shore up their defenses. STIGroup provides cyber security consulting, managed security services, secure IT engineering and value-added resale (VAR) as its core offerings.

“Carbon Black’s long standing partnership with STIGroup will benefit with David in this leadership position,” said Michael Viscuso, Carbon Black’s CTO and co-founder. “Our organizations have a mutual commitment to protecting businesses against advanced cyberattacks. David’s 25 years of experience in the cybersecurity space will help to advance this joint commitment.”

Before joining STIGroup, Gordon held leadership positions at NetSPI, LightCyber (acquired by Palo Alto Networks) and Carbon Black. He also led EMEA sales for WhiteHat Security.
