The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants: Young CPAs Sponsor Food Drive for Those in Need
On Sep 12, 2014Roseland-based The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants Young CPAs Council is sponsoring its fifth annual food drive through November 21 that will benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey.
Donors are encouraged to bring nonperishable items to NJSCPA headquarters in Roseland. Additional drop-off locations are listed at www.njscpa.org/fooddrive. Last year’s food drive saw the collection of more than 2,800 pounds of food, which helped benefit thousands of people all across the Garden State.
Volunteers can help sort food on Tuesday, November 11, and/or Tuesday, November 18, from 6:00-8:00pm at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey in Hillside.
The FoodBank is a member of Feeding America, the nation’s largest network of food banks. It provides support to 1,600-plus agency programs in the fight against hunger.
