New Jersey Devils, Prudential Center and Investors Bank Announce Partnership Agreement

The New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center yesterday announced Investors Bank as the Official Bank of the hockey club and sports and entertainment arena, as well as a presenting partner of Devils hockey. The announcement took place in front of over 200 staff members from both organizations inside the new-look Investors Bank Tower, located at The Rock. The entrance of the Investors Bank Tower is at the corner of Mulberry Street and Edison Place and is the main entrance to the arena.

“For over a decade, Investors Bank has been working to put community back into banking. Now we are aligning our sense of purpose with the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center to produce meaningful and positive changes for people and families in our State,” said Kevin Cummings, President & CEO of Investors Bank.

“With Investors Bank, the largest and most prominent bank in New Jersey, we have a partner who shares our commitment to the state and its local communities where our kids and families live, learn and play,” said Scott O’Neil, CEO of the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center. “It is a proud and humbling moment to announce the start of this great relationship today as we continue to work with the Garden State’s leading businesses to bring the best out of New Jersey.”

The partnership between these two New Jersey companies was driven by the Devils and Prudential Center’s One Jersey movement. This unique platform is designed to align the most powerful brands in New Jersey with the goal of unifying and inspiring the people and communities throughout the state.

Together, Investors Bank, the Devils and Prudential Center are committed to serving New Jersey’s communities by having a positive and significant impact on people across the state. At today’s press conference, a $10,000 donation was made to St. John’s Food Pantry, which has been serving the needs of Newark since 1826.  Investors Bank employees volunteer at St. John’s year-round on a bi-weekly basis, and the food pantry has also been a regular stop for Prudential Center staff community service initiatives.

Cummings added, “Our partnership begins by joining forces to create and produce compelling ‘One Jersey’ initiatives. As the ‘Official Bank of the New Jersey Devils’ we’ll have a dynamic presence during Prudential Center’s sporting and entertainment events. Our team looks forward to opportunities this partnership will bring.”

As presenting partner of Devils Hockey, Investors Bank will have a significant presence at Prudential Center and be featured in team-produced content during games. This includes a fan-generated content series and the introduction of the Fan Favorite of the Month, in which Devils fans will decide the team’s monthly award winner. Additionally, Investors Bank will be the presenting partner of Devils Membership networking events, which provides opportunities for New Jersey businesses to connect with each other.
