New Chief Information Officer Appointed at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center

Ravikanth “Ravi” Koganti has been named vice president of information technology and chief information officer at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.

Having most recently served as a corporate director of information systems at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Ravi has worked in the healthcare technology industry since 2004. Over his career, he has driven complex business and technical initiatives including clinical, ancillary, and financial system implementations; health system operations improvement; and consolidating IT systems.

Englewood Hospital and Medical Center is in the midst of a transition to Epic, a state-of-the-art, integrated electronic medical record system. “We are delighted to welcome Ravi and eagerly look forward to his invaluable guidance and leadership on our Epic implementation and all IT-related activities,” said Warren Geller, Englewood Hospital and Medical Center president and CEO.

At Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, Ravi will help support the medical center’s business and clinical initiatives and lead the system’s continued growth, notably of its physician network, MDPartners of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center.

After receiving his bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Ravi moved to the United States for graduate school. He obtained master’s degrees in aerospace engineering and electrical engineering from the University of Florida.
