NAIOP NJ Announces 2023 Commercial Real Estate Awards Honorees

The New Jersey Chapter of NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, has announced the recipients of its 2023 Commercial Real Estate Awards. The awards will be presented at the 36th Annual Commercial Real Estate Awards Gala, to be held on May 18 at The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset.

• Cushman & Wakefield’s Robert Donnelly, Sr. will receive the Charles Klatskin Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors an individual who has had a distinguished record in service to the industry and the community.
• The Impact Award will be presented to Christopher J. Paladino, New Brunswick Development Corp., and to George Jacobs, Jacobs Enterprises Inc. This award recognizes firms and/or individuals that have had a significant impact on New Jersey’s commercial and industrial real estate development industry.
• The Industry Service Award will be presented to Meryl A.G. Gonchar, Sills Cummis & Gross PC, in recognition of her considerable contributions in support of the industry’s goals.
• New Jersey’s Lieutenant Governor, the Hon. Sheila Y. Oliver, will receive the Caren S. Franzini Public Partner Award, which honors champions of economic development that inspire and transform communities.

In addition to celebrating the achievements of leading CRE professionals and organizations, NAIOP New Jersey’s Gala will recognize the state’s most impactful real estate transactions. Award categories have traditionally included: Industrial Deal of the Year, Office Deal of the Year and Mixed-Use Deal of the Year.
