Middlesex Water Company CEO Named Chairman of the Water Research Foundation

Middlesex Water Company, a provider of water and wastewater and related services primarily in New Jersey and Delaware, announced that its President and CEO, Dennis W. Doll, has been named chairman of the board of The Water Research Foundation (WRF) for a two-year term. Doll has served on the WRF Board since 2010, having served as a member of the executive committee as treasurer, and most recently as co-vice chair.

The WRF, with more than 1,200 subscribers, is a nonprofit, charitable and educational organization which funds, manages, and publishes research on the technology, operation, and management of drinking water, wastewater, reuse, and stormwater collection, treatment and supply systems—all in pursuit of ensuring water quality, protecting public health and the environment and improving water services to the public.

“I am honored and excited to be serving as Chair of WRF, the world’s leading water research organization which brings the value of independent scientific research to over 950 water utilities in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and northern Asia, as well as consulting and manufacturing companies,” said Doll. “WRF’s independent research programs on topics ranging from asset management, utility finance to water quality and more have benefitted utility managers, public health officials and regulators. I look forward to working with our Board and WRF staff and to continued collaboration within all aspects of the water sector,” added Doll.
