Beachwood-based Mazur, Krieghbaum & Higgins, CPA’s, LLC, a leader in construction accounting, is pleased to announce that it is merging with McCarthy & Company, PC. Based in Lafayette Hill and Philadelphia, PA, McCarthy & Company is also well-recognized for its expertise in serving the construction industry.

“The combination of our firms will position us as a powerhouse in the construction industry in the Tri-State area,” says Michael Mazur, CPA, CFF and managing partner of Mazur, Krieghbaum & Higgins. The firm has offices in Beachwood and Woodbridge, NJ, as well as in Manhattan. “By merging with McCarthy & Company we can now offer a wider range of specialized services to our construction clients while expanding our footprint into Philadelphia and throughout Pennsylvania. Our combined resources and expertise will be a win-win for our clients.” Although the construction industry is recovering from the recession and beginning to fuel economic growth in the Tri-State area, contractors still face many challenges. Mazur, Krieghbaum & Higgins will assume the McCarthy & Company name. Its New Jersey-based leadership team, supported by its current staff, will remain unchanged. “Our clients can rest assured that they will work with the same team of professionals that they work with today,” Mazur continues.
