LIXIL Americas Names Katty Pien as New Chief Marketing Officer

Katty Pien has been named the new chief marketing officer of LIXIL Americas, the division under which kitchen and bath brands American Standard, DXV and GROHE operate. In this position, Pien is tasked with designing the overall marketing strategy that carries out the vision of LIXIL to pioneer water and housing products that make better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere.

Pien brings more than 20 years of global marketing expertise to this position, with achievements encompassing strategic planning, brand portfolio management, and the creation of award-winning integrated consumer marketing campaigns. She will report to LIXIL Americas Chief Executive Officer and President Steven Delarge.

Most recently, Pien worked as vice president of global marketing and research and development for Edgewell Personal Care. Prior, she served as group marketing director at Energizer Holdings, managing the Schick, Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic brands; brand director for Haagen-Dazs ice cream at Nestlé, Inc.; and group product director for facial moisture and treatment for Johnson & Johnson, overseeing the Neutrogena brand. Earlier in her career, Pien moved up through the category and brand management ranks at Unilever, handling consumer brands Vaseline, Wisk detergent, Lever 2000 and Dove.

Pien has been recognized with various distinctions during her career that include a 2009 Cannes Lion Award from the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, a 2009 Gold Clio, a 2009 Gold Effie, and being named an AdAge Top 50 Marketer in 2008.

“Katty’s proven marketing expertise and deep understanding of the buyer’s journey position her to take our iconic brands to the next level and differentiate the consumer experience,” said Delarge. “I am thrilled to welcome her to our organization and look forward to her contributions in further expanding our mission to make products that solve everyday, real-life challenges of consumers.”

Pien holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in operations research and industrial engineering from Cornell University.
