Lightbridge Academy, a 60-unit early education and childcare franchise offering programs to children aged six weeks through kindergarten, has announced four new additions to its executive team and board. The updates include the promotion of Gigi Schweikert to CEO, the hiring of John Hamilton as vice president of Franchise Operations, Bada Hong as vice president of customer experience, and Susan Wolford as a new board member.
Combined, Schweikert, Hamilton, Hong and Wolford represent decades of experience in the education and business worlds. Schweikert joined Lightbridge Academy in 2015, serving as COO and president, while Hamilton, Hong and Wolford have proven track records in business. Hamilton has worked for almost 15 years as a franchise business consultant for major restaurant chains including Cinnabon and Rita’s Italian Ice.
Hong has experience at multiple Fortune 500 companies including Allstate Insurance and Prudential. Meanwhile, Wolford spent most of her 40-year banking career focused on the education sector. With their experience combined, they hope to bring Lightbridge Academy into a new era of growth, focused around the brand’s trusted Circle of Care philosophy and going from 60 to 150 units in the next five years.
