JLL was selected by United Way of Northern New Jersey as a consultant to help the nonprofit re-envision the number, location, and type of office spaces needed to best serve the northern New Jersey region. The sale of one commercial condominium at 222 Ridgedale Avenue in Cedar Knolls will help the nonprofit optimize resources.
The JLL professionals overseeing this assignment include Jonathan Meisel, managing director, and Conor Dolan, associate. They will work closely with John Franklin, CEO, with the United Way of Northern New Jersey.
“JLL is advising United Way of Northern New Jersey regarding the optimal configuration and location for its operations,” said Meisel. “The nonprofit currently has six offices throughout the region and is looking to consider alternatives that allow the maximal use of resources to address the needs of the community. The sale of the Cedar Knolls property will better position the nonprofit to serve all the communities in the region.”
“It’s an incredible opportunity to work with United Way to help the organization continue its charitable efforts in New Jersey,” said Dolan.
United Way of Northern New Jersey was formed in 2011 when five United Ways merged, bringing together Morris, Somerset, suburban Essex, Sussex and Warren counties. A sixth community — Millburn-Short Hills — joined the regional entity in January 2014.
The regional nonprofit operates offices in Essex County at 60 South Fullerton Avenue in Montclair and at 44 Main Street in Millburn; in Morris County at 222 Ridgedale Avenue; in Somerset County at 1011 U.S. Route 22 West in Bridgewater; in Sussex County at 2 Spring Street in Newton; and in Warren County at 699 Washington Street in Hackettstown.
The nonprofit is selling a 5,767-square-foot condominium unit at the Class A, 222 Ridgedale Avenue, which is located between Hanover Avenue and Vista Drive in Cedar Knolls, just minutes from downtown Morristown. The three-story, 20,836-square-foot office building was constructed in 1985.Related Articles:
