JANJ Adds 4 New Board Members

JA of New Jersey (JANJ) has added four new members to its board of directors. Representing diverse industries, these board leaders bring years of business leadership to JANJ to help further the organization’s mission of inspiring and preparing young people for success.

“We are thrilled to welcome these outstanding new board directors, who represent a variety of backgrounds, said James Horne, Jr., president, and CEO of JANJ. “All four individuals deepen the diverse expertise of the board with significant experience in their respected industries. As we continue to move JANJ forward with its ambitious goals for the future, I am excited for what these board members will bring to the organization as we work to prepare and empower New Jersey youth.”

The new members of the board of directors include:

  • Greg Lalevee – business manager at International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825
  • Dr. Mark McCormick – president at Middlesex College
  • Dwayne Redmond – market executive – New Jersey at Bank of America
  • Dalton Smart, CPA, MBA – vice president – corporate audit & assurance services at Merck

JANJ is an award-winning, free educational resource dedicated to providing New Jersey’s youth with relevant experiential education in financial literacy, career readiness, entrepreneurship, and life skills. With its headquarters and Capstone programs located in the JA Education Center, in Raritan Center, Edison, JANJ is committed to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success and plan for their futures.

JANJ’s learning experiences are held at the JA Education Center, in schools, on college/university campuses, in corporate facilities, and online through digital learning experiences.
