Investors Bank Partners with the Pros for the “Experts in the Field” Campaign

Investors Bank and former NFL quarterbacks, broadcasters, and philanthropists Boomer Esiason and Phil Simms are suiting up for a multimedia advertising campaign designed to showcase Investors’ customized consumer and commercial banking solutions.

The campaign, launched the week of May 15, 2017, is entitled “Experts in the Field” and targets businesses in the New York and New Jersey metropolitan markets. There are prime time spots during “Dancing with the Stars” (Monday, May 15) and “The Voice” (Monday, May 15/Tuesday, May 16) to launch the campaign. The spots will also run on local and cable news programming, radio, billboards, and digital and social media. Investors Bank will be the featured sponsor for the “Investors Bank Quote of the Day” on New York Mets broadcasts on SNY.

In the fall, television commercials will run on “The NFL Today,” the CBS pre-game show where Esiason and Simms break down the week’s games. The campaign was developed in partnership with Investors Bank’s advertising agency, Source Communications.

In announcing the campaign, Investors’ Chief Operating Officer Domenick Cama said, “Investors Bank has evolved into New Jersey’s largest bank. With our focus on business and relationship banking, this campaign will help raise Investors Bank’s level of brand awareness throughout the NY and NJ metropolitan regions. It will position us for future growth.”

“Investors has a strong business and relationship banking team,” said Investors Chief Executive Officer Kevin Cummings, “and it was just made stronger with the addition of Boomer and Phil. These are good men and professionals who know the value of teamwork. They are proven leaders on and off the field and exemplify Investors’ core values of cooperation, character, community, and commitment.”

Simms, in discussing the new relationship said, “Investors Bank meets customers’ every day banking needs with a focus on helping them achieve their long-term goals. I have experienced Investors’ professionalism, sincerity, and character first-hand as the bank has been a long-time sponsor of the Phil Simms North South All Star Game, which will be held at Kean University in June. They represent the very best of the region and I’m honored to be part of this winning team.”

“Phil and Boomer are the perfect spokespersons for our bank and for this campaign,” said Cama, “given their long-time connection to the New York/New Jersey metropolitan region – Phil as a New York Giant and Boomer as a New York Jet, Long Island native, and radio host for the WFAN Boomer & Carton Show.”

As part of the campaign, The WFAN studio where the Boomer & Carton Show is broadcast will be named the Investors Bank Studio. Investors will also have a daily presence on the Boomer & Carton Show, as well as on other WFAN programming.

Branded content will extend and amplify the “Experts in the Field” campaign with engaging, interactive segments on leadership, strategy, relationships, and more, with nationally recognized broadcaster Bonnie Bernstein moderating discussions with Esiason, Simms, Cummings, and Investors Bank’s commercial banking customers.

“We think this campaign – through the conversations about life, football and community values – will help everyone get to know Investors Bank,” said Cummings. “The resources and services Investors offers to businesses and consumers truly are tools for success.”

“It is great to actually be working with Investors Bank,” said Esiason. “Having dealt with Investors through my Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, I know the bank is committed to making a difference in the community. I am proud to be working with a team of professionals who also are good corporate citizens.”

“Phil and Boomer’s extensive work in the non-profit sector demonstrates their commitment to the community and helping others,” said Cama, “that type of character is fundamental to the way we conduct business at Investors Bank. We believe we can do right and do well. Doing right by our customers is how we intend to become the leading community-oriented bank in the region.”
