Inspira Opens Health+ Technology Stations

Inspira Health Network, a leader in patient safety, clinical excellence and service, recently announced the establishment of “Inspira Health+”, dedicated technology stations at Inspira Medical Center Vineland and Inspira Urgent Care Glassboro on Rowan Boulevard. Each Inspira Health+ location is supported by expert technicians and offers wearable and smart technology products designed to help patients improve their overall health management.

The first of their kind in South Jersey, Inspira Health+ features prominently displayed kiosks and a team of technology experts on site to educate patients, visitors, physicians and staff about how to better manage their health through tools like the My Inspira, Inspira Access and eCare. The voluntary program offers consultations to help individuals understand how technology can be used to measure biometrics to monitor chronic illness, stay connected with an Inspira personal trainer or track fitness goals for a healthy lifestyle.

“The ongoing integration of smart technology into healthcare must be supported by the resources to help our patients maximize the benefits,” said John DiAngelo, President and CEO of Inspira Health Network. “We’re leading the charge in delivering cutting-edge technology and our Health+ locations are examples of our commitment to helping the communities we serve better monitor their personal health and wellness.”

Inspira has long been at the vanguard of introducing new technology into patient care. Inspira Health+ supports the Inspira C.O.A.C. H. Program, PREP Program (Physician Referred Exercise Program) and population health departments, programs that help patients manage chronic illness such as congestive heart failure (CHF), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and diabetes.

Inspira Health+ serves as an extension of the Inspira Health Network Innovation Center announced earlier this year, a million dollar fund focused on accelerating the development and implementation of leading edge, patient-focused products and technologies.
