“We are honored to be featured as one of the healthiest workplaces in the country,” commented Mindy Holman, chairman of the board, Holman Enterprises. “Naturally it makes great business sense to have a healthy workforce, but this – while important – is secondary. We invest in Healthier at Holman because we care about the well-being of our people and their families.”

Healthier at Holman features on-site fitness centers and cafeterias, nightly group exercise classes, nutrition counseling, on-site massage therapy and monthly health classes on numerous topics. In addition, one of the goals is to match employees’ healthy lifestyle choices with tangible benefits through decreased insurance premiums. Lastly, Healthier at Holman recently launched a points-based program that awards employees for healthy behaviors that fit with their lifestyles, resulting in rewards given to a larger group of individuals for a variety of beneficial activities.

“Our goal is to provide resources that reward our employees for making healthy choices every day. We do this through uniquely targeted programs and incentives that create an environment that promotes a healthy mind and body,” commented Kim Andreola, assistant manager, corporate wellness.

Holman Enterprises received this honor during the 8th annual Employer Healthcare & Benefits Congress in Washington, D.C. on September 26, 2016, before 3,000 attendees from over 100 countries.
