Hackensack Meridian Health Appoints New Regional President

Hackensack Meridian Health appointed M. Todd Way as regional president of the central market. Todd will lead five hospitals in the central market – JFK Medical Center, Raritan Bay Medical Center-Perth Amboy, Raritan Bay Medical Center-Old Bridge, Bayshore Medical Center and Riverview Medical Center.

“I’m excited to welcome a truly dynamic leader to our team,” said Mark Stauder, chief operating officer.  “I look forward to having Todd continue to advance the operational performance of the central market, while enhancing patient care in our communities.

Prior to joining Hackensack Meridian Health, Todd served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Inspira Health Network in Southern New Jersey, where he helped organize the approval of a new hospital – Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill. He has a consistent track record of improving revenues, reducing expenses, and improving operating margins. Todd has demonstrated abilities in recruiting physicians, growing clinical programs, and improving market share. Additionally, he is passionate about improving clinical quality and seeking state and national recognition for quality of care and patient experience. Prior to Inspira, Todd led operations at Valley Health, a six-hospital system in Winchester, Virginia.

Todd received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from West Virginia University. He received his Masters of Science in Health Administration from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University.
