According to GZA President and CEO Patrick Sheehan, “Katja brings a tremendous depth of experience and expertise to her new position at GZA that will enable our firm to continue to provide superior service to our clients in the for-profit, government, and institutional sectors throughout metropolitan New York and the tri-state area.”

Bavendam earned her bachelor’s degree from St. Francis College in Brooklyn and her masters in Transportation Planning & Engineering from New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering.
