Grape Finale Hands-on Winery is the realization of a dream for Lisa whose passion for wine was firmly established when she attended the University of California at Davis. Grape Finale, located in the Bartles Corner Business Park in Flemington, guides wine lovers through the entire process of making their own private labeled premium wine. Grape Finale patrons use professional winery equipment to crush and press over 25 varieties of select Red & White wine grapes from California, Washington, Oregon, Chile and South Africa. At the end of the process they bottle their wine with personalized labels.
All judging was done under the guidelines of the American Wine Society (AWS) and overseen by AWS certified judges. Wines were awarded as Bronze, Silver and Gold and Double Gold (unanimous gold by the judges). In an amateur competition, no individual or any member of the group can be directly involved with commercial wine making.
