Grand Opening of Water’s Edge Riverfront Rental Community Brings New Luxury Housing Option to Harrison

Harrison Mayor James A. Fife and fellow officials from the Town of Harrison joined developer BNE Real Estate Group on Monday, Oct. 20th, to celebrate the Grand Opening of the newest luxury rental community to open in the burgeoning Hudson County town: Water’s Edge at Harrison.

The mayor cut the ceremonial ribbon, officially opening Water’s Edge to renters looking to make Harrison their new home.

“I would like to congratulate everyone involved in Water’s Edge on a wonderful project,” Mayor Fife said. “I was down here with a few councilmen a couple of weeks ago and we wandered around the place and took some pictures. Everything looks beautiful. The view of Newark is excellent. It is very nice during the day and I’m sure it is even nicer at night. So I want to thank you for everything you’ve done to bring this very beautiful place to Harrison.”

The Grand Opening is an important step in the ongoing renaissance taking place in Harrison, where investment in the community is flourishing, with modern rental residences, a hotel, and new retail and restaurants all opening within the last few years. With attractions such as the Red Bull Arena within walking distance, and a $256-million upgrade of the Harrison PATH station underway, Harrison is one of the most attractive neighborhoods in New Jersey for commuters. Water’s Edge takes advantage of everything the community offers and adds a service-oriented, amenity-rich lifestyle component that makes it one of this fall’s hottest rental opportunities.

“Harrison is undergoing a tremendous renaissance and we are thrilled to be a part of it,” said Jonathan Schwartz, senior vice president of BNE Real Estate Group. “Water’s Edge reflects our commitment to creating innovative, well-thought out residences in strategic locations near mass-transportation that meet the needs of today’s sophisticated renter. It is a significant new addition to this emerging neighborhood along the Passaic River. Demand for this building has already been extremely strong and we expect that to continue as more and more renters discover everything that Harrison offers.”

Located at 301 Dey Street, Water’s Edge offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments with contemporary interior spaces. Residences in the four-story building range in size from 545 to 1,232 square feet and include such upscale appointments as hardwood floors in living areas, plush carpeted bedrooms, soaring 9-foot ceilings, high-efficiency washer/dryers and oversized windows. Chef-inspired kitchens boast stone countertops, custom cabinetry, and an enviable collection of stainless steel appliances, which include a dishwasher and gas range. Private outdoor space is available and residents receive complimentary window treatments. Immediate occupancy is available.

“We designed Water’s Edge to offer a complete lifestyle experience for our residents, one that is not only easily accessible by mass transportation, but also feels private and personal,” said Kristina Hedden, vice president of marketing for BNE Real Estate Group. “This community raises the bar for the echelon of luxury that Gold Coast renters have come to expect, at a price point that is much more affordable than what is currently being offered in Hoboken and Jersey City.”

Water’s Edge includes a vast amenity offering designed to meet the expectations of today’s sophisticated renter. A 24-hour concierge is available to assist residents, as well as 24-hour on-site management and maintenance. A state-of-the-art fitness center, WiFi business lounge, residents’ lounge, game room and landscaped terrace with heated outdoor pool, lounge seating and a fire pit are all included for residents’ enjoyment. The game room features a billiards table, shuffleboard and other activities, while the lounge includes a fireplace and a bar. Free WiFi access is available in all common areas. On-site covered parking is also available.

Water’s Edge is managed by BNE Management Group. It is a pet-friendly building. Rental prices start from $1,495 for studios, the $1,700s for one-bedroom apartments and the $2,200s for two-bedroom apartments. The leasing office is now open 7-days a week, and immediate occupancy is available.
