Fox Rothschild’s Morristown Office Welcomes Prominent Litigator Marc J. Gross

Bolstering the firm’s Garden State capabilities, Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Marc J. Gross has joined the firm as a partner in the Litigation Department.

“Marc is a distinguished figure in the New Jersey business community, and we are delighted to welcome him to Morristown,” said Deirdre E. Moore, Fox’s Morristown office managing partner. “Marc’s passion for creative problem-solving is a perfect fit for Fox. His diverse business litigation practice and legal crisis management skills, coupled with his broad trial experience will be an asset to our clients, wherever they are based.”

Gross focuses his litigation practice on corporate conflicts, trade secret issues, real estate matters, shareholder and franchise disputes, employment issues and complex commercial disputes, including high-stakes, bet-the-company litigation. His wide-ranging list of clients includes entrepreneurs, closely held family businesses, automobile dealerships, and real estate and technology ventures.

Deeply vested in the Northern New Jersey business community, Gross served as the founding member and president of the North Jersey Business Council and is past president of the Essex County Bar Association. He was formerly chair at the New Jersey State Bar Association Federal Practice and Procedure Section. In addition, Gross served as a founder and chairman of the board of Parkinson’s Heroes, Inc. and was a board member of the Greater Newark Conservancy.

Named a New Jersey Super Lawyer by New Jersey Monthly Magazine in each year for the last decade, Gross has also been recognized in Benchmark Litigation. He has served as a panelist in legal profession forums and provides commentary for statewide television news broadcasts.

Gross earned his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School in 1991 and his B.A., cum laude, from George Washington University in 1988.

Prior to joining Fox, Gross was a partner and led his business litigation practice group at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis, LLP in Roseland, New Jersey.

Fox’s three New Jersey offices – Morristown, Princeton and Atlantic City – are home to more than 50 litigators. In 2017, the New Jersey Fox team was recognized as the “Litigation Department of the Year” by the New Jersey Law Journal.
