Fox Rothschild Opens New Office Building in Morristown

In a move that strengthens its presence in Northern New Jersey and cements its commitment to serving its client base in the Garden State, Fox Rothschild LLP will open its new office location in Morristown – an innovative, state-of-the-art building at the intersection of Market and Bank streets – on February 27, 2017.

The firm’s new space enhances the revitalization of Morristown’s downtown area and replaces a long-unoccupied building in the town center. The 42,000-sq.-ft. space features a distinctive triangular layout and a red brick exterior to blend with the town’s historic elements. The office will be home to more than 50 attorneys from Fox’s current Morristown and Roseland offices.

“Morristown is booming, both with business and culture” said Deirdre Moore, the Managing Partner of the Morristown Office.  “As a longtime resident of the area, I am thrilled that Fox is able to bolster the community by creating, from the ground up, a modern and efficient building that also respects the town’s historic aspects.”

The decision to construct a new office came as the firm’s leases in both its Morristown and Roseland locations were coming to an end. To create operational efficiencies and to better manage client needs, Fox sought to unite the two offices in a single location.

Fox attorneys, led by real estate partner Robert Klausner, worked in conjunction with firm client, The Hampshire Companies, to secure the land and obtain all necessary development approvals. Fox will lease the new building in its entirety from Hampshire.

“Consolidating our Northern New Jersey locations makes strategic sense on many fronts,” said Mark L. Silow, Fox’s firmwide managing partner. “The new space affords us the opportunity to magnify our presence in the region and helps us become a hub of collaboration and productivity for our clients and for the overall business community in New Jersey.”

“We look forward to showcasing our new space to clients and friends,” added Silow. “We will be actively looking to grow the office and add talent to our teams.”

Fox remains committed to protecting and advancing the interests of New Jersey’s business community. The firm’s Northern New Jersey attorneys handle an array of real estate, labor and employment, commercial litigation, corporate, immigration, tax and wealth planning and family law matters for clients.
