Four New Jersey hospitals, including Atlantic Health System’s Morristown Medical Center, St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, and Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, are recognized by NRC Health in its national Top 100 Consumer Loyalty Awards List.
NRC Health’s Market Insights survey, the largest database of healthcare consumer responses in the country, asked over 300,000 U.S. consumers to rank hospitals garnering extraordinary loyalty from their patient populations.
“The voice of the consumer, our patients, must be at the center of everything we do. These consumer preference recognitions serve as an affirmation that we are headed in the right direction, but we believe there is much more to be done. As we continue to transform the healthcare experience we are laser-focused on our patients, listening to their feedback and reinventing the consumer experience,” said Valerie Simon, Chief Marketing Officer, Atlantic Health System. “Today’s patients have choices. They research and make decisions based on not only exceptional quality and patient outcomes, but the full experience. While Morristown Medical Center has been acknowledged as the number one hospital in New Jersey by both U.S. News & World Report and Newsweek, every day we strive to listen to our patients and raise the bar on the entire patient experience.”
Organizations that achieve the Consumer Loyalty Award score exceedingly well on seven different metrics of patient loyalty, including Access, Engagement, Experience, and Net Promoter Score.
“Morristown Medical Center and the other outstanding healthcare facilities included in the Consumer Loyalty Awards list are leading the way toward a new elevated standard for the patient and consumer experience,” said Brian Wynne, Vice President and General Manager at NRC Health. “This award recognition is a reflection of the trust Morristown Medical Center has built with its patient communities and speaks to the exceptional work being done by Morristown Medical Center to provide compassionate care and inspire consumer loyalty.”
