First Bank Opens New Branch in Flemington

First Bank announced today that it has expanded into Hunterdon County with a new branch in Flemington.

The full-service branch with deposit and lending services is located at 334 Route 31 in Flemington within the Prestige Plaza.

“We have local staff at the branch who really understand the needs of the Flemington area,” said Patrick Ryan, CEO of First Bank. “Our branch manager, Brent Cronnell, was a former manager for TD Bank and his coverage area included this location and the branch’s assistant manager, Brian Ballentine, was the manager of a PNC branch just down the road. At our Hamilton headquarters, Gene McCarthy, our newest market executive, has strong ties in the Flemington area and the former Yardville National Bank.”

New customers are invited for a free lunch weekdays February 22- March 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for March 1.

“This location has great visibility in a high-traffic area and it was a very successful location before the prior bank moved out. Flemington is an excellent market and we have connections in the area from our Yardville Bank days,” Ryan added.
