Fanatics Sportsbook Opens at Ocean Casino Resort

Today, Fanatics Sportsbook Co-Founder Shawn “JAY-Z” Carter and Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin hosted the grand opening of the Fanatics Sportsbook at Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City. It’s the first Fanatics Sportsbook in New Jersey and the newest retail sports betting destination in Atlantic City.

JAY-Z and Michael Rubin cut the grand opening ribbon and hosted a football watch party that saw pro golfer Justin Thomas make the day’s ceremonial first bet – $100 on Alabama to win the National Championship at +950. In attendance were basketball great Jalen Rose, Hip-Hop artist Quavo and football great Ryan Clark, who is also the host of the popular PIVOT Podcast.

The Fanatics Sportsbook at Ocean Casino Resort is a featured attraction in The Gallery, which offers a 100-foot elevated bar and lounge area with seating for sixty surrounded by slot machines, tables and 140 feet of LED walls. Sports fans can place wagers at betting windows or self-service betting terminals throughout the venue and traverse a 17-foot open-air staircase that leads to Balcony Bar, a mezzanine bar and lounge.
