Passaic-based Falstrom Company announced that it has acquired K-D Industries. K-D is a precision machining business that supports customers in the aerospace, defense, material handling and energy industries. K-D Industries will operate as a division of Falstrom Company. Chris D’Alessandro and Glenn D’Alessandro, K-D principals will continue to run the K-D division of Falstrom Company.
Cliff Lindholm, president and CEO of Falstrom Company stated, “The two companies together create a stronger organization that will be better positioned to support and service the combined customer base.”
K-D Industries is a precision machine shop that has been owned and managed by Chris D’Alessandro and Glenn D’Alessandro for over 30 years. Chris and Glenn have transformed K-D from a small operation into a key resource for some of the critical suppliers in industries that range from aerospace to material handling.
Falstrom Company, founded in 1870, is a contract manufacturer of custom electronic enclosures and assemblies for the defense industry. Falstrom designs, fabricates and integrates systems for prime defense contractors supporting navy and coast guard ship platforms.
