Emily Holliman Appointed New CEO at HackensackUMC Pascack Valley

Hackensack University Health Network and LHP Hospital Group, Inc. announce that Emily Holliman will be joining HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley as its CEO, effective early May.

Garrett, president and CEO, Hackensack University Health Network.  “Emily’s vast healthcare experience and demonstrated commitment to the communities she has served are a true match for the type of leader our Network was seeking. I would like to thank Mark Sparta, who has served as acting CEO of HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley since last November. He did a tremendous job in continuing to elevate the hospital’s level of care, and I am confident that Emily will build upon his work.”

Emily joins the HackensackUMC at Pascack Valley team with more than 16 years of healthcare experience, during 11 of which she served as a hospital CEO.  Her experience spans both for-profit and not-for-profit hospitals,  including Sebastian River Medical Center (Naples, FL) and St. Dominic–Jackson Memorial Hospital (Jackson, MS).Most recently, she was the CEO of Norwood Hospital in Boston, which is part of the Steward Health Care System. During her tenure the 263 bed hospital had impressive operational improvements

Emily holds an MBA and a Master’s of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  She will be relocating to the Pascack Valley area with her husband and two young daughters.
