Chatham resident Peter Null and Daniel Haurey of Long Valley are streamlining the electronic filing process mandated by the New York state courts. Their e-filing companion software, eFileFAST, is giving lawyers the power to transform their arduous 30-to-40 minute task into a simple 3-minute series of clicks. New York’s 180,000 lawyers will now have the technical efficiency that has been unheard of until now. The 100 percent cloud-based service includes an unlimited 30-day free trial.
Created by Peter Null’s U.S. Document Retrieval Service (USDRS) and the software development experts at Daniel Haurey’s Exigent Technologies, eFileFAST answers the call for help from New York law firms that have been seeking to add efficiency to their e-filing process, while also mitigating some of its inherent risks. Similar to popular income tax e-filing solutions, which work with government e-filing systems, eFileFAST works as a companion to NYSCEF, the New York State Courts e-file system.
eFileFAST completed a successful “preview” launch in early summer at the Microsoft Technology Center in NYC’s Times Square with more than 100 attendees from 75 law firms. The response was so successful that almost 50 law firms joined the FREE beta testing program within 10-days of the preview. Testing has been ongoing throughout the summer.
