Edison Partners, a Princeton-based growth equity investment firm, announced the promotion of Joseph Giquinto to vice president of finance.
Giquinto, previously the company’s controller, has been with Edison Partners for 10 years. He will lead the company’s audit and tax compliance, Limited Partner reporting, financial planning, accounting and analysis.
“As we have evolved as a growth equity firm, the level of financial reporting and compliance requirements have increased, so it’s critical to have excellent internal controls in place. For the last ten years, Joe has driven our finance operations and has worked closely across all our functions to gain a deep understanding of our business,” said Chris Sugden, managing partner, Edison Partners.
Sugden added, “The development of our team and their growth is critical to our strategic plan and we are proud to continue to promote from within. Joe’s team spirit, tenacity, and sense of humor are traits that define our team and drive us to succeed. His promotion is well-deserved and we look forward to his continued success.”
Prior to joining Edison Partners, Giquinto worked as a controller for the VMS Group, a fund administration firm based in Princeton. He also worked as a senior accountant at The Mercadien Group. He holds a BS in Accounting from Rider University in Lawrence Township.
“I’m eager to continue supporting Edison’s financial operations, and grateful to be part of an exceptional team of people all working towards the same goal—to create value for our portfolio companies, outstanding returns for our LPs, and to be rewarded for our work when we succeed,” Giquinto said.
