DLPR Wins 2 PRSA NJ Pyramid Awards, Including Best in Show

Deirdre Lopian Public Relations, LLC (DLPR), a Freehold-based integrated communications consulting firm specializing in PR, marketing, and event initiatives, has won two awards including the prestigious top honor “Best in Show,” at the 35th Annual Public Relations Society of America NJ (PRSA NJ) Pyramid Awards.

DLPR was named 2024 “Best in Show” for its work on behalf of the New Jersey Integrated Mental Health Conference. The campaign, titled “Reimagining Mental Health Initiatives: The Inaugural New Jersey Integrated Mental Health Conference,” also received a Pyramid Award in the “Events” category.

DLPR earned “Best in Show” for surpassing NJIMHC’s fiscal registration goal by 164%, its sponsorship target by 107%, and laying the foundation for the conference to become an annual event.

DLPR was praised for its excellence in developing and executing NJIMHC, which brought together practitioners, leaders, and advocates in mental health, behavioral health, and holistic wellness to take a deeper dive into exploring the collaboration between psychiatry, psychotherapy, and mind-body modalities to effectively treat the mental well-being of patients. The inaugural NJIMHC was held on June 21-22, 2023 at Brookdale Community College marking New Jersey’s first integrated mental health conference.

“I am honored to receive this recognition from the PRSA NJ,” said Deirdre A. Lopian, founder and CEO of DLPR. “Mental health advocacy is a cause I am deeply connected to, and this acknowledgment reaffirms DLPR’s commitment to producing events that champion impactful causes and create meaningful, positive change in communities.”

Lopian also expressed her gratitude to the visionaries behind NJIMHC, saying, “I’m deeply thankful to Larry Thompson and Seth Arkush, founders of NJIMHC, for trusting DLPR to bring their vision to life. Their leadership and dedication to advancing the conversation and collaboration around integrated mental health were pivotal in the success of NJIMHC, and I’m proud of what we accomplished together.”

The PRSA NJ Pyramid Awards recognize excellence in public relations and communications in New Jersey, celebrating industry achievements that raise the bar for public relations professionals. The awards ceremony was held at the Zimmerli Art Museum on the Rutgers University campus on Nov. 14.
