Cushman & Wakefield Named Among 2014 CoStar Power Brokers

Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. has been named a 2014 CoStar Power Broker Award winner for both leasing and sales activity in Northern New Jersey. In addition, 12 of the commercial real estate firm’s professionals were recognized individually by CoStar Group (NASDAQ:CSGP) for their regional transaction volume last year.

The Power Broker Award annually honors the “best of the best” in commercial real estate brokerage by spotlighting the firms and individual brokers that achieve the highest levels of transaction volume in property leases and sales for the calendar year. To be selected for this honor, Cushman & Wakefield was measured against brokerage firms active in Northern New Jersey by CoStar Group, the leading provider of commercial real estate information, analytics and online marketplaces.

The same methodology was used to select the top individual professionals. The Cushman & Wakefield brokers honored are New Jersey residents Ben Brenner of Manhattan, William Brown of Berkeley Heights, Edward Duenas of Bridgewater, Paul Giannone of Wayside and Marc Rosenberg (office leasing); Jason S. Goldman of Westfield, Marc Petrella of Bay Head and Andrew Siemsen of Ramsey (industrial leasing); and David W. Bernhaut of Watchung, Gary Gabriel of Franklin Lakes, Andrew J. Merin of Fort Lee and Brian Whitmer of Denville (sales).

“The CoStar Power Broker Award is a testament to our leasing and sales brokers, who are among the finest in the industry,” said Ron Lo Russo, the firm’s president, NY Tri-State region. “I congratulate the individuals whose outstanding performance earned them recognition, as well as our entire team of professionals. Their deep understanding of the market and consultative approach to serving our clients has made this achievement possible.”
