Cushman & Wakefield Hires Seasoned Leasing Professional

Cushman & Wakefield has hired Brian Decillis as a managing director of its New Jersey brokerage operations, announced Andrew Judd, managing principal and head of Cushman & Wakefield’s New Jersey region.

Based in Cushman & Wakefield’s Morristown office and working in partnership with industry-recognized veterans Robert Donnelly Sr. and Rob Donnelly, Jr., Decillis will focus on agency leasing, tenant representation and multimarket account work.

“Brian’s unique blend of experience, working for major owners and developers throughout the state, is underscored by his reputation with brokers and tenants,” Judd said. “He will be able to apply those skills and his standing in the industry immediately to Cushman & Wakefield clients.”

Decillis offers more than 15 years of office leasing and real estate experience and has held senior leasing and asset management responsibilities at leading real estate organizations such as Onyx Equities, Mack-Cali, The Lefrak Organization and The Gale Company. During his career, he has held leasing responsibilities for more than 10 million square feet of office space in over 50 buildings in Jersey City, Bergen County, and Morris County. With a proven record of success working collaboratively with corporate tenants and brokers, Decillis has worked on the strategic leasing and repositioning of assets across some of the largest portfolios in the state.

Most recently, Brian was the vice president of leasing/asset management for Onyx Equities, where he held joint leasing responsibilities for the firm’s 1.4 million-square-foot Bergen County office portfolio. Onyx’s Co-Founder John Saraceno, Jr. said, “Brian has been a valued member of the Onyx team, taking a leadership role with the leasing & repositioning of our Bergen County Assets, and we look forward to the opportunity of working together in the future. We see this as an extension of the already strong relationship Onyx has with Cushman & Wakefield.”

Decillis received a bachelor’s degree in applied economics and business management from Cornell University. He is also an active member of NAIOP NJ and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce.

“We are delighted that Brian has joined us,” said Donnelly, Jr., executive managing director. “He will be a vital part of our team as we meet the ever-evolving needs of our clients. His diverse experience will bring immediate benefit, both to those owners that we serve and to the tenants we represent.”
