Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield has orchestrated an 83,000-square-foot industrial lease at 400 Lyster Avenue in Saddle Brook on behalf of Axis Global Logistics. The firm’s East Rutherford-based team of Jules Nissim and Stephen Elman represented Axis Global. Owner Branca Properties of East Rutherford was represented in-house.
For the Maspeth, N.Y.-based Axis Global Logistics, a leading transportation and supply chain solutions provider with 15 warehouse locations internationally, the signing marks an expansion. The company maintains its U.S. national fulfillment center in Somerset.
“The company acquired a new account and needed a new location in Northern New Jersey to service it,” said Elman. “We did a thorough site search of the greater port and greater Meadowlands markets, and this was determined to be the best facility based on the quality of the real estate and the length of the lease that was offered. Axis was also impressed by the responsiveness and hands-on management of Branca Properties.”
Located on 4.25 acres, 400 Lyster Avenue totals 91,500 square feet, including 4,600 square feet of office space. Constructed in 1973, it is situated in Northern New Jersey’s Route 46 industrial corridor, near the intersection of I-80 and the Garden State Parkway.
“This is an industrial market that continues to gain momentum,” said Elman. “We are seeing significant user interest in the remaining availabilities, and vacancies continue to decline.”
