CASA of New Jersey, Inc., part of a national network of non-profit programs that advocate for children removed from their families because of abuse or neglect, names Christina Farrell, Carlotta Chan and Kim Case as board members.
Christina Farrell is the Legislative and PAC Manager for the New Jersey Realtors in Trenton, where she serves as the liaison on local, state and federal issues, and lobbies in Trenton on state issues. Farrell has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences at Rutgers University. She is Co-Founder of the State Street Young Professionals, an organization designed for young professionals in state government, as well as a member of the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey. Farrell’s experiences in the private and public sectors have equipped her with a thorough understanding of government relations and fundraising. While on the CASA of New Jersey Board, Farrell will play an important role in marketing and developing resources to help expand the organization in an effort to serve greater numbers of abused and neglected youth throughout the state.
Carlotta Chan is currently Investor Relations Manager with Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG). Chan is a founding member of Aspire, which is PSEG’s Pan-Asian Business Resource Group, as well as the Vice-Chair of the Women’s Network Business Resource Group. Prior to joining PSEG, Carlotta was an equity and fixed income analyst at several Wall Street investment firms. She received her Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from New York University.
Chan is a former member of the Millburn Environmental Committee and Cable Franchise Committee, as well as past Co-Chair of the Temple Sinai Early Childhood Education Committee, and volunteers as a mentor and intern supervisor with the Newark-based Development School for Youth.
Kim Case, attorney by trade, is currently the Vice President of CN Communications International, Inc., a Chatham-based marketing and communications company with a 40-year track-record serving clients in the corporate, non-profit, and political sectors.
Case is an appointee to the Governor’s School Board of Overseers as well as the NJ STEM Pathways Network. Case obtained her Juris Doctorate from Rutgers School of Law, MS in Teaching from Pace School of Education, and a BA in Political Science from Rutgers University. Case has held leadership positions in a variety of non-profit and community service organizations, including the Women’s Fund for New Jersey and the New Jersey Center for Science, Technology, and Mathematics. She is the state co-champion of Million Women Mentors. She is a current fellow with LEAD NJ, and an alumni of New Leaders Council – New Jersey and Teach for America.
