Colliers Adds New Vice President

Colliers, a leading global commercial real estate services firm, has hired Anthony Mazzucca as a vice president in its Woodbridge office.

In his new position, Mazzucca will concentrate on multi-family, retail and land sales, bringing to Colliers an extensive background across all aspects of real estate with over 40 years of experience in the industry. Notable deals handled by Mazzucca include the sale of a 250,000 SF shopping center to Kimco for $26 million and arranging a 40-year lease to Target. Recently, Mazzucca served as the representation for the sale of two shopping centers totaling 230,000 SF valued at over $13 million. He is also currently working towards completing approvals for two affordable housing properties in New Jersey.

“Anthony has led a legendary career, with his experience spanning across a remarkable number of sectors. Not many can say they’re an expert on as many topics as Anthony is,” said Dennis Waggner, executive managing director at Colliers. “His expertise in multi-family, retail and land sales will be invaluable to the Woodbridge office and to Colliers as a whole. We’re thrilled to have him join our team.”

Prior to joining Colliers, Mazzucca served as CEO and managing director of both Blackpoint Realty LLC in Florida and Newfoundland Realty in New Jersey. He worked with the companies for over 40 years to develop, lease, transact and manage shopping centers anchored by national tenants, acting as a site consultant to several major supermarket companies. He’s also served as president of the Blackpoint Group, where he led the development of over $300 million of apartments and retail centers in New York, New Jersey and Florida, working directly on the design and construction of every project. He was previously named NAIOP Tampa Bay Industrial Developer of the Year in recognition of his great work in the region and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. Beyond real estate, Mazzucca has served as Secretary of the Board of the New Jersey State Opera and on the Mountainside Board of Education.

Mazzucca joins the firm as the New Jersey office market has experienced a year-over-year growth in leasing activity and rising asking rents.
