Cobalt Lofts in Harrison Launches for Leasing

The partnership of Advance Realty and DeBartolo Development announced Cobalt Lofts, its luxury residential building in Harrison’s Riverbend District, has officially opened for leasing.

Located at 1200 S. Fifth Street in Harrison, Cobalt Lofts offers 280 luxury studio, one and two bedroom homes, as well as duplex lofts featuring 20-foot ceilings and views of downtown Manhattan. The building is just a short walk from public transportation via the nearby Harrison PATH station – providing residents with a short 20-minute commute to Manhattan or 3-minute ride to nearby Newark. Cobalt Lofts also comes equipped with a full suite of state-of-the-art amenities that complement the modern renter’s busy, cosmopolitan lifestyle.

“We’re excited to begin leasing at our second luxury residential building in Harrison and anticipate remarkable leasing interest throughout New Jersey and New York,” said Peter J. Cocoziello, Founder and CEO of Advance Realty. “Cobalt Lofts adds another one-of-a-kind community to the Riverbend District, a transit-oriented locale poised for continued growth.”

At Cobalt Lofts, residents will have access to stylish, spacious homes featuring eclectic high-end finishes, private balconies and rich, bohemian-inspired interiors. Each residence offers 9-foot ceilings, many with built-in wardrobes and storage space, large modular closets and an expansive floor plan that provides ample space to work, create, entertain and relax. Sleek, modern kitchens are outfitted with upscale designer shaker-style cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances with filtered water, quartz countertops and even a personal wine fridge. The apartments come with one of two kitchen color schemes – either deep blue or grey.

Each of the building’s 280 thoughtfully-designed homes also comes with an array of smart technology and other modern features, including a built-in Amazon Echo Dot, pre-wired speakers and the Samsung SmartThings HUB.

“The Riverbend District’s first luxury residential building, Steel Works, has continually attracted renters seeking uniquely designed homes and a diverse mix of modern amenities,” said Edward M. Kobel, President and Chief Operating Officer at DeBartolo Development. “With that building nearing full capacity, we could not be more excited to begin leasing at Cobalt Lofts and continue to transform the Riverbend District into a destination for renters seeking an unrivaled combination of convenience and upscale living.”

Amenities at Cobalt Lofts also extend well beyond each individual apartment, with communal spaces including a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring a dedicated CrossFit workout area and Peloton bikes; community working space; a private dining and wine tasting room; and a top-floor game room and lounge. A beautifully landscaped roof deck includes an outdoor kitchen space with stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. Cobalt Lofts’ residents who own cars will have full access to the building garage that includes roll-up doors and a set of electric car charging stations.

“Every home at Cobalt Lofts is designed to be spacious and welcoming, and comes complete with modern, hard-to-find features such as a balcony, walk-in closets and voice-enabled technology,” said Jackie Urgo, President of The Marketing Directors. “Combined with the building’s comprehensive suite of amenities, incredible access to public transportation and convenient location in the fast-growing Riverbend District, it offers some of the most unique and in-demand homes on the market today.”

The addition of Cobalt Lofts lends continued momentum to the Riverbend District’s planned development, beginning with the opening of Steel Works in the summer of 2017. Upon completion, the District will include approximately 3,000 luxury apartments alongside 100,000 square feet of retail space over the District’s 35 acres.
