Chemistry Council Honors TRC and DuPont

The Chemistry Council of New Jersey (CCNJ) recognized TRC and DuPont with its prestigious Chairperson’s Award at its 39th Annual Conference, held on April 29 in Atlantic City. The awards ceremony, attended by over 200 industry leaders, celebrated the outstanding contributions of both companies to the chemical industry and their unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and safety.

The Chairperson’s Award represents the pinnacle of excellence in the industry, honoring companies that demonstrate exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to the success of CCNJ and its members.

TRC, a global leader in providing environmentally focused solutions, was honored as the Associate Member Company recipient. TRC’s consistent service and support for CCNJ-led initiatives, including hosting speakers at committee meetings and sponsoring events, were instrumental in its selection for the award.

DuPont, a long-standing member of CCNJ, received the Regular Member Company award in recognition of its decades-long commitment to the council’s mission and objectives. DuPont’s advocacy efforts, engagement in regulatory matters, and commitment to environmental health, safety, and security were highlighted as key reasons for its selection.

Michael Heltzer, chair of the Board of Trustees at CCNJ, praised both companies for their contributions, stating, “TRC and DuPont exemplify the highest standards of excellence in our industry. Their dedication to sustainability, safety, and innovation sets them apart, and we are proud to honor them with the Chairperson’s Awards.”
