CBRE Brokers Sale of Development Site to QuickChek

CBRE Group Inc. announced today that it has facilitated the $3 million sale of a retail development site located at the intersection of Route 37 and Fischer Boulevard in Toms River,  to QuickChek.

The transaction amounted to an assemblage of properties and Steven Winters of CBRE exclusively represented the primary parcels in the transaction.

“QuickChek immediately recognized the value of this exceptional location, situated at a signalized intersection that offers optimal visibility and access among the area’s dense consumer population,” said Mr. Winters. “Further, QuickChek is particularly well positioned in this location outpositioning it’s competition.”

QuickChek plans to develop a modern gasoline and convenience store facility on the two-acre site, which offers prime visibility and access on a high-traffic corridor. The property is located at the first signalized intersection passed along Route 37 when exiting west off the Barnegat Peninsula – the barrier island featuring a number of popular beach towns, including Seaside Heights and Lavallette.

With a population of more than 91,000, Toms River ranks as the second most populous township in Ocean County and the eighth most populous in the state of New Jersey. As one of the region’s busiest corridors, Route 37 sees excess traffic from Jersey Shore travelers, serving as a main artery between the area’s beaches and the Garden State Parkway.
