Boston-Area Tocci Building Companies Announces Expansion with New Office in New Jersey

Tocci Building Companies (Tocci), a Boston-area construction manager and leader in virtual design and construction solutions, has announced that it has leased office space at Metro Corporate Campus I (Metro Park) located in Iselin.

The new Tocci office is adjacent to the Amtrak and New Jersey Transit train stations at Metro Park. This location provides employees living in south, central, or northern New Jersey, as well as those living in New York, easy access to public transportation to commute to work. This location also enables clients to easily visit the new office, as it is centrally located between Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York City, where there is substantial growth in construction.

The office will be designed to reflect the “Me, We, Us” philosophy that Tocci stands behind. The space will have an open concept with smaller privacy pods for personal quiet conversations, as well as large, technically equipped conference rooms serving as premier collaboration space.

The office expansion was a natural progression for Tocci, which is currently headquartered in Woburn, MA. The company, led by Chief Enabling Officer John Tocci, has been providing construction management and consulting services for more than 15 years in the New Jersey area. Current projects include a 400-unit residential development in East Brunswick, the Residences at 3 Journal Square in Jersey City, an Embassy Suites Hotel in Berkeley Heights, and a residential development in Secaucus.

“We have had a presence in the New York and New Jersey markets for many years and are excited to establish our new office here in Metro Park,” stated John Tocci. “This new space will allow us to better serve our clients in this region and capitalize on our capabilities to serve an ever-growing market.”

As opportunities continue to grow in the New Jersey market, Tocci’s presence has also expanded with 12 new employees being hired in New Jersey within the past year. With the new office, Tocci is expecting to continue this upward growth while targeting additional high-profile projects.

As an active member of the New Jersey community, Tocci hosted two local job fairs on February 11th and 25th at the Bethune Life Center in Jersey City. It is estimated that approximately 200 potential apprentices attended to learn about the trades and fill out an application.

Metro Corporate Campus I is owned by The Realty Associates Fund X, L.P., and managed by Avison Young. The broker for the deal was Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. Tocci will continue to operate out of its Woburn Headquarters as well.
