Boiling Springs Savings Bank Promotes Kenneth G. Emerson

Rutherford-based Boiling Springs Savings Bank has promoted Kenneth G. Emerson to senior executive vice president/chief operating & strategy officer. In this position, Emerson will serve as chief administrator for retail operations and facilities management, direct the bank’s overall administrative functions and develop strategies to foster the financial institution’s corporate growth and development.

The promotion is an expansion of Emerson’s duties from his previous role as EVP/chief operations & strategy officer, which he held since 2015. Prior to that, he served as the bank’s FSVP/chief risk officer, and FSVP/CIO/CTO/director of Strategic Planning. Before joining Boiling Springs, Emerson held positions with FinPro, Inc. and Summit Bank. He has a BA from Franklin & Marshall College and was a Certified Public Accountant.
