Biocon Biologics Moves HQ to Bridgewater

Avison Young has negotiated a new 9,624-square-foot lease at 685 Route 202/206 in Bridgewater on behalf of Biocon Biologics to serve as their new North American headquarters. The fully integrated global biosimilars company took occupancy this month.

Biocon Biologics was represented by Drew Persson, principal, who is based in Avison Young’s Morristown office. The landlord, Kushner Real Estate Group (KRE), was represented by Justin Gingeleskie, William O’Keefe, and Charlie Parmellie of Cushman & Wakefield.

“Critical to our success was collaborating closely with KRE with their pedigree and experience to fast-track the execution and delivery of the space for Biocon Biologics. Our goal was to quickly find a space that aligned with Biocon Biologics’ expectation of amenities, quality ownership, and preferred geography and begin operations right away,” said Persson.

The property, also known as Bedminster 78 Corp Center, is a three-story, 139,000-sf office building and offers direct access onto Route 202 as well as nearby Interstate 287.

“Biocon Biologics is growing, and we needed to establish a North American headquarters that would sustain our future plans. Through a collaboration with Avison Young and KRE, we were able to find the right property to meet our current and future needs,” said Josh Salsi, Head of North America, Biocon Biologics.
