AmeriHealth New Jersey Responds to New Jersey’s Growing Hispanic Population

AmeriHealth New Jersey announces that its company website, AmeriHealthnj.com, is now available in Spanish. According to the United States Census Bureau, New Jersey’s Hispanic population reached 1.7 million in 2014—a figure that represents almost 20% of the state’s total population.

“AmeriHealth New Jersey is dedicated to meeting the needs of the people who live and work in New Jersey. It only makes sense for our resources to reflect the demographics of the state,” says Mike Munoz, senior vice president of sales and marketing for AmeriHealth New Jersey.

The following pages of AmeriHealthnj.com are now available in Spanish:

  • AmeriHealth New Jersey home page
  • Individuals and families
  • Help choosing a plan
  • Members
  • Wellness programs
  • Contact information

These categories reflect the redesign of the company’s website in 2014. The new layout offers more features for members seeking information relevant to their personal circumstances. Navigation tools direct individuals through the website quickly and efficiently. This year, the functionality of the site is further enhanced by the introduction of the Spanish webpages.

“It’s important to us that our members are able to easily access valuable information regarding their health insurance needs,” says Ryan J. Petrizzi, vice president of consumer markets and sales operations for AmeriHealth New Jersey. “This latest enrichment to our website is another example of how we are enhancing communication with our members.”
