Acting Governor Kim Guadagno, along with state lawmakers and business officials, met with members of the Keidanren, the Japanese Business Federation, and Reiichiro Takahashi, Ambassador and General Counsel, for a luncheon event at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Trenton Thursday afternoon. The luncheon, hosted by the Keidanren, was arranged to discuss Japan-New Jersey business relations and allow Japanese business leaders to meet and network with state officials. In 2014, Japan was New Jersey’s fifth largest export partner, and exports to Japan totaled more than $1.6 billion that year.
Attached are two photos from the event that show Acting Governor Guadagno exchanging gifts with Mr. Kunio Ishihara, Vice Chair of Keidanren and Leader of the Keidanren Mission to New Jersey.
