ACCNJ Merges with Building Contractors Association of South Jersey

Effective January 1, 2020, the Associated Construction Contractors of New Jersey (ACCNJ) and the Building Contractors Association of South Jersey (BCA/SJ) merged, solidifying ACCNJ’s position as the largest union construction association in the state.

ACCNJ will welcome current BCA/SJ contractor and associate members.

“The merger will provide greater impact with labor, government leadership and agency officials,” commented Jack Kocsis, Jr., ACCNJ’s Chief Executive Officer. “We look forward to growing together as one association and continuing to raise the standards of the New Jersey construction industry in every way possible.”

As the state chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America – the oldest and largest construction association in the nation – ACCNJ holds four AGC of America charters: building, heavy, highway and utility.

ACCNJ represents general building contractors, construction managers, and heavy, highway, site development and utility contractors in New Jersey that employ tens of thousands of skilled union craftworkers each year. Members are responsible for billions of dollars in commercial, industrial, heavy, highway, utility and institutional construction projects annually. The Association is committed to raising the standards of construction in New Jersey through quality, integrity, skill and responsibility.
