2023 New Good Neighbor Nomination Form

Welcome to the 2023 New Good Neighbor Awards nomination form. This award recognizes the economic development impact of new, renovated or expanded plants, office and commercial buildings, retail centers (excluding individual stores within shopping centers), and green community projects (i.e. streetscapes, parks). Construction or capital expenditures at the nominated facility must have been completed during the past two years, between January 1, 2021, and December 31, 2022.

Nomination – Stage 1:

To nominate a project, please complete the following information. A nomination letter must be included, describing the merits of the project and how it impacts the economic well-being of the community and State of New Jersey. There is an upload link on the following form where you will attach the letter.

Stage 1, NOMINATION DEADLINE: March 24, 2023

Nomination – Stage 2:

Upon review of the nomination form, the nominated project is required to provide additional information that will be used by our judging committee. All winning projects will be notified by the end of April and be awarded a New Good Neighbor Winning Facility Plaque along with recognition in the July 2023 issue of New Jersey Business magazine. If you are nominating your own project, you can proceed to stage 2 after the initial nomination. A link will be in your nomination confirmation email. (Failure to fill out the Stage 2 form by the deadline of April 10, 2023, means an automatic disqualification.
