TD Bank Launches Mobile Banking Center

New mobile banking center offers customers banking alternative when stores are unavailable.

Cherry Hill-based TD Bank, has recently launched a Mobile Banking Unit to offer customers continuity when TD stores are not available, such as during store renovation projects, following emergency situations or in advance of TD Bank store grand openings. TD Bank officially unveiled its mobile center prior to the grand opening of its newest retail location in Winter Park, Fla., last week.

TD Bank developed the Mobile Banking Unit to ensure that service at key locations is never interrupted. Modeled after mobile command centers used by first responder organizations, TD Bank’s Mobile Banking Units are secure, self-propelled, self-contained and fully branded small-scale TD Bank stores, complete with a two-person teller counter, two customer service desks, a pair of ATMs and independent power and communications support.

“At TD Bank, we define customer service by offering banking services in channels that meet our customers’ wants and needs. This includes providing convenience through our stores, ATMs, contact centers, digital channels and now through the Mobile Banking Center,” said Kevin Gillen, Head of Retail Strategy and Solutions, TD Bank. “The unit can be deployed to aid customers in both times of need and to serve communities when we are opening a store in the area. The mobile center is just another way we provide legendary service to meet our customers’ banking needs.”
