Stockton President Harvey Kesselman Joins Board of World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia

Stockton University President Harvey Kesselman has been named to the board of directors of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, effective immediately.

The World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia (WTCGP) is a non-profit organization that is a member of a network of more than 300 world trade centers in 100 countries. Utilizing its broad international network of more than 750,000 members, WTCGP provides trade and market counseling and educational programs; facilitates global trade missions and business events; and provides businesses with the market insight, tools, networking opportunities and global connections to help companies in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Southern New Jersey compete in an increasingly competitive international marketplace. Since 2002, WTCGP has helped Pennsylvania and New Jersey companies generate more than $1.5 billion in incremental export sales, creating more than 15,000 jobs.

WTCGP has close ties with many of this region’s finest educational institutions such as Stockton University, with which WTCGP will collaborate to promote the international business education of Stockton students, including introducing students to global businesses in the region and supporting President Kesselman’s global vision for Stockton University.

President Kesselman offers a deep knowledge of the South Jersey business and academic community. WTCGP President Linda Mysliwy Conlin noted, “President Kesselman’s participation in our board brings an important South Jersey perspective from a recognized leader in higher education and within the region overall.”

“It is an honor to serve on the board of directors of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, which recognizes the vital importance of higher education in promoting our region’s economic growth and increasing global opportunities,” said President Kesselman.

“We are delighted to welcome President Kesselman to the board of the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia,” noted WTCGP board chairman Gary Biehn, who also serves as chair of the China Business Group and International Group at White and Williams LLP. “President Kesselman surely will contribute valuable insights based not only on his years of experience as an academician and higher education leader, but also as an integral member of the South Jersey business community.
