River Drive Construction Completes 19,400-SF Conversion of Manufacturing and Laboratory Space for DSRV Inc. in Mount Olive Township

River Drive Construction, an Elmwood Park-based construction and consulting company, announces that it has completed the fit-out of a 19,400-square-foot space for DSRV Inc. at 330 Waterloo Valley Road in Mount Olive Township. With the conversion, DSRV Inc. will move its Georgia office and manufacturing activities to Mount Olive Township. This will optimize its operations as it will now neighbor the distribution center of its parent company, Diagnostica Stago, a leading hemostasis firm.

The fit-out involved the complete conversion of 10,000 feet of warehouse space to a light manufacturing facility for a diagnostics reagent process. The significant conversion involved restructuring and installing various aspects of the space, including walls, extensive plumbing, HVAC and electric. An additional 8,000 square feet of space received a more basic refresh.

River Drive Construction, which served as the project manager, was involved in all aspects of the significant space conversion, from the initial stages of budgeting and design to securing permits and coordinating with the architects, engineers, owner and tenant. The entire process was completed in approximately eight months; actual construction took less than four months.

“It is always exciting to help an out-of-state firm move to New Jersey,” said Joseph Langan, CEO of River Drive Construction. “The fact that we were able to work so efficiently in helping a large diagnostics reagent manufacturer move into this facility is particularly gratifying.”
