M+W Group Appoints Jim Brown as President of M+W Energy, Inc.

M+W Group of Springfield, NJ is proud to announce the appointment of Jim Brown as president of M+W Energy, Inc. Brown will chart the expansion of services for M+W Energy to Fortune 1000 companies, utilities, developers, and government agencies to build photovoltaic solar and energy storage systems.

Jim Brown comes to M+W Energy with an extensive solar industry background, having served as President of Utility System Business & EVP of Global Business Development at First Solar and Senior Vice President at NRG.

For the past three years, M+W Energy (formerly Gehrlicher Solar) has been recognized as a top-tier solar EPC across the US. The total installed base has grown from 75MW (2013) to 750MW (2016E). The company is on track to commission over 300MW across fifty-plus project sites from Massachusetts to California as it continues to build portfolios of projects for top-tier investors.

Jim Brown brings broad experience from a successful career at key renewable industry players. “I could not be more excited about joining such a powerful team” said Brown. “Over the years I have watched M+W Energy develop into one of the most trusted solar EPCs in the industry.
