Manhattan Building Company Completes Leasing at Cast Iron Lofts II on Border of Jersey City and Hoboken

Manhattan Building Company, a Hoboken-based developer, has executed a successful leasing program at Cast Iron Lofts II, the second upscale apartment building in its Cast Iron Collection, a new offering of loft-style rental homes, world-class amenities and services and dynamic retail on the border of Jersey City and Hoboken.  Leasing for the collection of 232 apartments was completed eight months after the 27-story building opened its doors to the public.

Cast Iron Lofts II follows in the footsteps of the initial 155-unit Cast Iron Lofts building to bring more than 800 residents to this vibrant new address.

“There’s an energetic and lively environment at The Cast Iron Collection that can be felt from the moment you enter the buildings,” says Lou Mont, Chief Operating Officer of Manhattan Building Company.  “This spirited atmosphere, combined with some of the most spacious apartment homes in the Hudson County market, fueled our incredible leasing success at Cast Iron Lofts II.

“The public strongly believed in the SoHo West neighborhood we’re creating here and are now reaping the benefits in full-service high-rise buildings that have quickly become one of Jersey City’s most desired addresses. In fact, the resident referrals we’ve received at Cast Iron Lofts II have been beyond anything we’ve ever seen in any of our prior developments.”

The Cast Iron Collection is the first phase of a larger neighborhood concept that will ultimately include 2,500 residences in multiple buildings and street-level retail space.  The current buildings include 20,000 square-feet of street-level retail space occupied by 8 Springs Studio, a Pilates and Yoga studio and Viaquenti Academy, a bilingual pre-school.  Brewshot, a coffee shop that has several other locations in Jersey City and NYC, is also expected to debut by the end on 2016.

Highlighting the incredible lifestyle at the Cast Iron Lofts II is a full suite of world-class amenities, including a resort-style 17,000 square-foot rooftop deck with sparking heated pool, private cabanas. pool-side shower, gas BBQ grills, outdoor fire pit lounge areas, and lush landscaping with a shaded tree grove and sitting area with projection screen.

The outdoor amenities are not the only lifestyle elements that make Cast Iron Lofts II an activity rich rental experience.  Inside, the building boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio and fitness on demand system, business center, private conference room, children’s playroom, resident lounge with bar, fireplace, billiard table, shuffleboard and large screen TV; a lobby library lounge and bike storage.

“To fully maximize the resident experience, we also offer a 24-hour concierge, lobby package display system, valet dry cleaning service, on-demand fitness reservation system and indoor reserved garage parking,” says Director of Leasing Audrey Spina.

Cast Iron Lofts’ unique location provides easy access to some of New Jersey’s most dynamic urban centers.  Within minutes, residents can enjoy all that Hoboken and downtown Jersey City have to offer.  Complimentary daily shuttle service is provided to nearby PATH stations and NY Waterway ferry terminals, while the community’s SoHo Link service offers transportation to select local destinations, including SoHo in New York City.  The building is also convenient to the New Jersey Turnpike extension for an easy commute into north and central New Jersey.

Cast Iron Lofts II offers expansive studio, one-, two- and a large selection of three-bedroom residence.  Apartments range from 885 to 1,885 square feet of living space and include 10’ ceiling heights with exposed duct work, oversized windows, custom walk-in closets, hardwood floors, granite countertops, bathrooms with stained marble vanity, polished porcelain Carrera-tiled floor and glass enclosed showers with shower surround and massaging shower-heads.  There’s also state-of-the-art, fully-equipped kitchens with stainless steel appliances.
