Langan Headquarters Moves to Parsippany

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services officially moves into its new headquarters this week. Effective Monday, November 30, the firm will occupy nearly 80,000 square feet of the 4th floor of 300 Kimball Drive in Parsippany. The new office accommodates more than 300 Langan professionals in a contemporary work space that features an open floor plate with ample natural light and state-of-the-art communications technology to better facilitate project management among all Langan offices and to further enable the firm’s trademark client responsiveness.

300 Kimball Drive is rated LEED Silver and won a 2015 Best Building Award from the New Jersey Building Owners & Managers Association. The building also recently earned an Energy Star rating that recognizes top performance in sustainability. Langan employees will enjoy a variety of modern amenities, including an on-site fitness center, full-service renovated cafeteria, covered parking, walking trails, and nearby child care, retail stores, and restaurants. The building is centrally located with easy access to major highways, and is in close proximity to New York City, as well as New Jersey’s many urban pockets: Morristown, Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, and New Brunswick.

“Our employees are very excited about our new home – a LEED Silver building that aligns with our commitment to sustainability,” said David T. Gockel, President/CEO of Langan. “I am confident that this modern space will enhance the productivity of our staff, strengthen our internal collaboration, and inspire greater technical innovation, which ultimately benefits Langan’s clients here and around the world.”

Langan provides an integrated mix of site/civil, geotechnical, and environmental engineering services, as well as traffic planning, surveying, laser/scanning and modeling, natural resources/permitting, and landscape architecture. Perennially ranked among the top engineering and environmental firms in the country and a leading New Jersey-based business, Langan employs more than 350 people in the state (which includes an office in Lawrenceville, NJ), and nearly 1,000 employees total.

In New Jersey, Langan has supported many significant projects, including MetLife Stadium, Prudential Center, Liberty Science Center, and American Dream Meadowlands. Major corporate clients include Alcatel-Lucent, Panasonic, Celgene, Colgate, Campbell’s, Novartis, Prudential, Unilever, JCP&L, and PSEG. The firm has been a trusted consultant on virtually every college campus and hospital in New Jersey, including Memorial Sloan Kettering, Hackensack University Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rutgers University, NJIT, The College of New Jersey, Stevens Institute of Technology, and Seton Hall University. Many of New Jersey’s developers turn to Langan for its expertise on projects ranging from multi-family residential to office/retail, and from mission critical to industrial warehouse distribution centers. The firm’s environmental leadership is reflected in the fact that Langan employs more Licensed Site Remediation Professionals (LSRPs) than any consulting firm in New Jersey.
