The Hampshire Companies Announces Strong Leasing Activity in First Half of 2014

The Hampshire Companies, Morristown, a full-service, private real estate investment firm with equity in assets valued at over $2.5 billion, experienced strong levels of leasing activity throughout the first half of 2014, executing  875,244 square feet of new and renewal lease transactions.

“We have experienced a steady stream of new and renewal leasing activity in both office and industrial markets. Additionally, we have seen rates stabilize and an overall healthier leasing environment causing vacancies to decrease and resulting in positive absorption of available space,” said James E.   • 210,530 square feet leased to RR Donnelley at 5 Henderson Drive in West Caldwell, N.J.
  • 160,000 square feet leased to Sealed Air at 310 Mayhill Road in Saddle Brook, N.J.
  • 41,527 square feet leased to A&P at 177 Washington Road in Warren, N.J.
  • 33,000 square feet leased to OFS Fitel on Schoolhouse Road in Somerset, N.J.
  • 31,288 square feet leased to Grant Thorton at 186 Wood Avenue South in Iselin, N.J.
  • 30,000 square feet leased to Karls Appliance a Ferguson Enterprise at 65 Passaic Avenue in Fairfield, N.J.
  • 19,285 square feet leased to Vantage Development, LLC at 150 Mt Bethel Road in Warren, N.J.
  • 16,704 square feet leased to  BMS CAT at 10 Washington Avenue in Fairfield, N.J.
  • 15,277 square feet leased to Regus at 1000 Lafayette Boulevard in Bridgeport, C.T.
  • 12,299 square feet leased to Ernst & Young at 20 Church Street in Hartford, C.T.
  • 10,100 square feet leased to Soltech at 320 Fairlfield Road in Fairfield, N.J.
